Please find some very interesting books and articles linked with African history on this page.
I am not befriended or related to any of the authors listed below.
Fatima Napo - An African Perspective Of Psychology (2008)
Unluckily this book is only available in German. It was written by my childhood hero and singer Fatima Napo (Young Deenay), who also pursued the career of a psychologist. The book is easy and fast to read, and it explains why psychology must be used differently in Africa than in Europe. Even if you are not particularly into the subject of psychology, this is a very interesting read and you can learn a lot about how disgusting the retarded European thinking of African psychology is.
Walter Rodney - How Europe Underdeveloped Africa (1972)
A must-read and eye-opener!

This is a great article summarizing where today's countries of Ghana, Benin, and Mauritania got their names from, collecting information from different sources. This article was relevant for my Western Africa weeks and you should definitely check it out. It's short but very informative.
